French media are interested in the history, culture and nature of the province of Segovia

The Provincial Council of Segovia, through the Tourism area, has organized a new press trip to publicize the attractions of the territory, which make Segovia a reference tourist destination. On this occasion it has been the French media, in collaboration with the Spanish Tourist Office in Paris, who have been interested in the historical, cultural, gastronomic and natural wealth of the province, and accompanied by an official guide they have known several points of the Segovian geography, which will later be promoted in such renowned publications as Le Parisien Week-End.

The trip began the first day in Segovia capital, with a walk through the Plaza del Azoguejo to contemplate the Aqueduct, following the route through the Jewish Quarter, the Cathedral, until arriving at the Alcázar of Segovia. The lunch took place in the Restaurant La Fundición, the former plumbing of the Royal Site built in 1722 that served the Royal Palace and the Gardens, as well as the Glass Factory. In the afternoon, they moved to the town of Nieva where they got to know the Winery Denomination of Origin Rueda Blanco Nieva with a guided tour.

On the third day, a visit to the Hoces del Duratón was organized, in the middle of nature, to take a tour of the Natural Park, as an example of hiking and bird watching activity. The medieval village of Pedraza was the last destination of the trip, where they could enjoy the beauty and charm of this Segovian town.
